Linden Hall School for Girls
Founded in 1746, Linden Hall School for Girls is the oldest, independent, college-preparatory girls boarding and day school in the United States. Our 49-acre campus is located in the quaint, historic town of Lititz, PA located just 1 to 3 hours from the cultural hubs of Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City. As an academically rigorous community where girls are valued and known, Linden Hall provides an environment that fosters curious and independent learners who are prepared to contribute as compassionate global citizens. Linden Hall is a community of just over 200 students representing 20 countries and 15 States. Classes average 10 in size. Linden Hall offers 19 AP classes, Signature Programs include Advanced Scholars, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Aviation, Equestrian, and a Visual and Performing Arts program. Our graduates go on to the nation’s top colleges and universities. We currently have freshman girls at Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Duke, Johns Hopkins, and many other top US schools. We have early acceptances this year to UPenn, U Chicago, and NYU. Summer at Linden Hall offers 5 programs: Traditional, College Prep, ESL, Aviation, and Equestrian. International students may attend for either 2 or 4 weeks. Weekend trips include visits to New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and nearby Hershey, Pennsylvania. International students will be well integrated into Gore High School. We offer programmes of support in English at all levels so that International students are given the best opportunities.
