Wisconsin Lutheran High School

Since 1903, Wisconsin Lutheran High School (WLHS) has been widely recognized for its academic programs, liberal arts opportunities, fine arts, and award-winning activities. WLHS is a distinctly Christian private high school (grades 9-12), and welcomes all young men and women who desire a comprehensive, secondary education. Academics and Specialty Programs WLHS boasts a rigorous curriculum and a caring dedicated and highly qualified faculty that prepares students for future success at a four-year U.S. university. 96% of WLHS graduates enroll in a post-secondary institution, many receiving scholarships and academic recognition. Since 2010, 25% of the international graduates have attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. For students who are academically gifted we offer seven challenging Advanced Placement (AP) courses, as well as the Young Scholars Program where students attend college classes 3 blocks away. WLHS developed centers for students needing ongoing study assistance and support and has specific resources for an English Language Learning program (ELL) that includes English proficiency testing and one-on-one peer tutoring. International students are most welcome and are given strong English and Academic support.
