Alpha Educational Institute (Alpha) is a smaller, specialist English Language School, located in suburban Christchurch. Alpha opened in 1995. Alpha specialises in quality programmes for adults and teenagers and younger learners. Our courses are taught by experienced, highly-skilled teachers with both tertiary and internationally-recognised TESOL qualifications. We can enrol students from the age of 8 – 80, and we offer personalised pastoral care! We have short-term group programmes, longer-term school preparation programmes, general courses, academic and exam preparation programmes and also teacher training courses. We have something for everybody!
